Are all Democrats Pacifists?

I consider myself “Old Testament” in my thinking, so I have a very hard time understanding why Democrats are calling for Israel to lay down it’s arm and not protect itself. It’s that “turn the other cheek” mentality they are purporting that troubles me. This does not work when you have Hezbollah a sworn enemy of Israel and its sole purpose is to destroy the Jewish nation. Should Israel put down it’s arms to be massacred?

What will a cease-fire accomplish? It will allow the terrorist organization Hezbollah to regroup, resupply and plan another assault on Israel. Do Democrats not understand a relenting will to kill others? Or are their own convictions so weak that they cannot comprehend beliefs they would be willing to die for?

If another country with a stockpile of 14,000 rockets suddenly hurled hundreds of rockets at the New England States the Democrats would be the first to point fingers at the Bush administration for not stopping them. They would be calling for an annihilation of that country.

The civilians killed are unfortunate, but I’m sorry but I really have no sympathy for people who aid and abet terrorists. And it is their choice to endanger their families and children in doing so. The Lebanese people knew these people we part of Hezbollah the terrorist organization and yet they still housed and assisted them. And what part of “GET OUT WE ARE GOING TO BOMB YOU!” did those people not understand? Israel dropped leaflets and the people have TV and radio. They knew Israel was going attack. (The rockets in the distance should have been a dead give-a-way)

And why did the Lebanese government sit idly by and watch this terrorist group heavily arm themselves? They knew this group was a major threat to the region. They should be joining forces with Israel to help crush Hezbollah. This is the only way to ensure that Israel can live a peaceful life and a cease-fire is the last thing they should do.

I wish I could see the Democrat’s view but I can’t find one they are too busy running away from conflict!
